Coaching with Christie

Christie was one of my first-ever web design clients when she started out life-coaching. Five years later, Christie evolved her business to focus on mindset coaching for individuals, as well as athletes, being a keen CrossFit competitor and coach.

Project Goals

I had to pretty much forget everything we had built 5 years ago. The goal of the new redesign was to transform Christie from a life coach, an industry that’s crazy competitive, to a “mindset coach”. This is where the SEO Sprint was effective in ranking for relevant terms targeted at two different pillars of mindset coaching - personal coaching for individuals and athlete coaching for sportspeople.

Design Approach

Christie had gone through a rebrand before contacting me, so I had a new colour palette to work with. The approach was to “un-Squarespace” the old site, which was very blocky. I was able to convey a far more professional vibe using a mix of black and white and colour images.

Key Features

The site includes several elements tailored to Christie’s needs:

• Pricing Table: Providing transparency was a key objective for this site. With clear pricing, having the various options showing high up on the Home page helps build trust.

• Visible Reviews: Social proof is crucial in the coaching industry, so I installed a Google Reviews widget that that automatically updates when a review is left.

• SEO Optimised Blog: As part of the SEO Sprint, I wrote 3 blog posts that helped target high volume keywords, covering both individual mindset coaching, as well as athlete mindset .

• Responsive Design: Given the variety of devices clients may use, the site is fully responsive, providing a seamless experience across mobile, tablet, and desktop.

The Outcome

The final product is a website that embodies Christie’s new direction and narrowed target persona. Prospects can easily see with her package prices and positive reviews from previous customers, making it easy for someone to take that first step in their journey with Christie.
